We were commissioned to develop a corporate design for a newly established art and photography book publisher. There were two key priorities: the logo was to be timeless and striking and, at the same time, clearly communicate the fact that Fey was a book publishing company. It was also important for the logo to be both easy to read and clearly recognisable even on a narrow spine of a book.
The result was a logo consisting of the three letters of the name Fey depicted as three books on a shelf, with the last of the three slightly tipped to one side. The business stationery also picks up on the bookshelf motif using horizontal lines.
